Frequently Asked Questions

After your schedule your session – we will chat about what you are wanting from your pictures.  For an outdoor session I will hand pick a few locations that I know will be great specifically for your family for you to pick from.  We will often use your home or I do use a studio that is available for rent. 

When we chat about scheduling your session we can narrow in a few dates that will work on both of our calendars.  You can then schedule fully online and let me know which date is best for you!

I will typically have your gallery to you within 1-2 weeks of your session. However, according to my contract I have 30 days to complete your gallery. If you are working on a specific timeline that you need your images by please be sure to let me know during our pre-session consultation so I can give you a better estimate based on how busy I am at the time.

I don’t expect kids to “behave” during your session. I encourage running, playing, laughing, and getting genuine smiles from everyone. (Did you know I used to be a teacher? Take a breathe and let me keep them busy!

I do not put a time on my sessions so we never feel rushed and an unexpected need during our time together is no big deal  but typically a family session is about 90 minutes while a newborn or cake smash are typically about 2 hours. 

When your gallery is complete you will receive an email with a link and password to access your gallery through a slideshow. You will then have 24 hours to choose your collection purchase. Once you have purchased your collection you will have 30 days to view each image (along with the slideshow) to make your decision of which images to downlaod and how to use your print credit.

I’d much rather work with you when you are all feeling well. We will reschedule for illness or unexpected emergencies. 

After you schedule your session you will receive a session guide with SO much information and tips for a successful session. I will cover some ideas of what to wear for each type of session in your guide.

Yes! You can print using all of the images in your gallery. So – if you want to make an album – you can use every picture if you wish! You can then choose which digitals you would like to keep on your hard drive separately from printing.

We will reschedule if necessary.  I hold additional days in my calendar for these types of things. 

Yes, I do try to get a traditional image of every family memeber looking and smiling at every session but sometimes it is just not possible. As a mom, I do want images of my kids faces so I can see how they change and grow and I will get this for you!

Yes, I love to take images of you enjoying your family and this is where the bulk of our time will be spent. I will capture the “feeling” of your family.

Yes. Anything farther than 20 miles from 80016 will incur an additional travel fee depending on the distance. Please contact me if you have a specific location you would like! I will travel to Boulder or surrounding areas of Denver depending on my schedule.

The non-refundable session fee is due when you schedule your session and sign your contract to reserve your date and time. You will then have 24 hours to view your slideshow and purchase a collection after you have seen your pictures.

Yes! I am happy to work with any situation. My son has special needs (an ultra-rare genetic desease) and I understand the additional challenges his differences can pose BUT I also very much see and cherish the unparalleled joy he brings to everything he is involved in. My goal is to capture your family no matter what that includes for you.
