One of the first questions I hear from new parents is some version of this: “Do we go to a studio, or can we do it at home?” It sounds like a simple logistical question, but when you have a new baby at home there is a lot more to it!

Most photographers will tell you the difference is about aesthetics. And yes, there are visual differences. But in my experience, the more important difference is about how the session feels for you and your baby. The experience of photo day will impact how your images look.
